Firstly I’d have to say after being all over the world with my family that no place like Disneyworld in Orlando, Florida, quiet shuts them up as well as this place did. Disneyworld is a truly wonderful place full of magic and excitement that will keep your little ones entertained for hours and hours. With four theme parks, filled to the brim with hundreds of rides, attractions and fantastic shows you really will have the time of your lives whilst staying here.
No matter what age your children are there will be something to stimulate interest and excite their imaginations. From all the rollercoaster’s like Thunder Mountain and Astro Oribiter for the older children, to Buzz Lightyears’ Space ranger spin and Dumbo’s flying Elephants for the younger ones in your family.
But why Disneyworld truly is the ultimate family destination is because there is so much for the parents to see and do, with the amazing daily Disney Parade and attractions such as the ‘Hall of Presidents’. And if you really are honest with yourself deep, deep down….Disneyworld appeals to every big kid that we have within us, and upon seeing all those amazing characters from your childhood, you will just let go and re-live your youth with your children.
Now, obviously if you want to have quiet, lazy days on the beach, hand in hand watching the sunset whilst sipping mojitos….maybe Disneyworld isn’t for you! I would highly recommend the sensational Caribbean paradise of Barbados for all you love birds out there, as it truly is the ultimate lover’s getaway!
Barbados is one of the larger Islands in the Caribbean Sea, spanning a mere 21 miles across! It enjoys an amazing warm, sunny, humid climate all year round and is very fortunate to be just outside the hurricane belt unlike its other neighbouring islands.

It is steeped in sublime natural beauty, with its endless stretches of white sandy beaches and rolling valleys of lush green tropical jungle, that you can leisurely stroll around in hand in hand for hours on end.
Or if you’re feeling particularly lazy, you can both take up post in a huge hammock all day on one of Barbados’ world famous beaches and wile away the day swinging away in the breeze together.
