1 Monkey Temple in Uluwatu
On the southern end of the island, tourists can see wild monkey and take some great photos. It’s suggested that you don’t wear any loose articles of clothing; monkeys love to steal hats, glasses and bags!

2 Ubud
Ubud is the island’s cultural center, home to artisans, crafters, dancers, singers and a vast number of food stalls and concessions. Ubud is home to a sacred monkey forest sanctuary and many organic eateries.

3 The Rock Bar
Situated right on the ocean, the Rock Bar offers views of the sunset you won’t see any where else in the world. Sitting right on the cliffs, the bar allows you to drink a cocktail, listen to jazz and take in the gorgeous view all at the same time.

4 Kuta
A tourist center, Kuta offers souvenirs, budget hotels and cheap food. The area has a bit of a tacky, tourist vibe but that’s why so many people love it!

5 Balangan Beach
Perfect for reef surfing, this out of the way beach offers tourists a chance to soak up the sun and scenery without the throngs of people who invade other beaches.
